House of Annetta
LONDON
IN PERSON & ONLINE
House of Annetta hosts the works in a space that focuses on sharing learning about how ownership of land shapes our lives and the world around us. 25 Princelet Street was the home of beekeeper, artist, activist and publisher Annetta Pedretti from 1980-2018.
Just as Pedretti understood knowledge as reciprocal and dynamic, Being redrawn creates a living system of exchange—works that speak to one another, to the space, and to their audiences in acts of feedback, interruption, and renewal.
The exhibitions invite audiences not simply to view but to enter into conversation, echoing Pedretti’s vision of systems as networks of interaction. Here, inclusivity is not a static promise but a lived practice: of listening, exchanging, and co-creating.

Jan is a mixed-media and multimedia artist whose practice merges diverse materials, techniques, and digital forms. Her work moves between the tactile and the technological, weaving texture, narrative, and innovation into layered expressions. By shifting perspectives—from raw beginnings to finished pieces—Jan challenges stereotypes and redefines how stories and meanings can be seen, felt, and communicated.
I had almost forgotten the root of why I began creating: to reflect nature — its timelessness, its cycles, its quiet resilience. Nature reminds us that everything comes and goes, but always reconnects — in new forms, shapes, times, reasons, and places.

Layer 2 - Half Man
Samuel Tam is a visual artist and lecturer in art. He has a particular interest in the aesthetic and cultural dimensions of social justice and identity.
Half Man is a story that Samuel first conceived in his teenage years and finally brought to life as a storybook this year. Consider it a long-overdue project. The work is rooted in his weekly practice of live drawing.

One of the works from the bear and wolf park was taking place during a family visit. Normally, there are no bears in the black forest. They can't survive in the wild, and they can't survive without people taking care of them. That's why this park is their last resort in their life.
Layer 1 - Ruminite (rockmover)
Cecilia examines rocks, minerals, and materiality as portals into memory and perception. Her collaborative project, a drop of ‘time crystal’ in the planetary boundary layer, traces the flows of matter and time, extending beyond disciplinary boundaries into speculative design philosophy. She seeks to unfold the complexities of our shared experiences under Technocene through the synthesis of scientific inquiry and speculative inquiry.
Ruminating on the nature of existence.
Minerals and rocks are the medium for geologists to understand the world that we exploit, yet while we ground ourselves to the geoenconomic or geopolitical levels, we forget that the ground is not just based on the foot we set on, namely the ownership of land, but the 'Natureship'.

“kleinodswerk+” embodies our ethos: “kleinod” is a German word that translates to "gem" or "jewel," often implying something precious, but it isn't just about the value of the material; it also signifies the experience we had with it. Where "klein" reflects our small work concept, sustainability is about the quantity we consume. “werk” represents the essence of craft and craftsmanship involved in creating meaningful work. The plus sign symbolises our commitment to collaboration and the exploration of ideas beyond conventional boundaries.
When there’s a game in an environment, you will need the player, and when the player plays that game, it’s the beginning of a new experience.

THINKIN'THROUGH WEG MAKING ...

This collaborative artwork explores the intersection of time and nature, metaphorically capturing the ephemeral state of the planetary boundary layer. Within the sphere of ‘design philosophy’ in the clubhouse, dialogue extends three once ‘finished’ works, encouraging them to go beyond their current fields and open up to the world. These works are connected through reflections from the artist on their relationships with the pieces, flowing across different boundaries like a phase of matter that repeats itself in time.
Proposed by Frank Wilczek in 2012, time crystals are characterised by spontaneous and perpetual periodic motion in their lowest energy state.
Sloterdijk's spheres as human-created, protective "envelopes" or environments like families, communities, and societies. Additionally, the term has a public sphere in social and political philosophy, a space for public debate and opinion formation essential for democracy, and can also refer to cultural spheres like art, literature, and philosophy.
