Artwerk Wander (2026 Edition) for Dialogues #12 is a site-responsive, multimedia investigation into the bidirectional relationship between motion and mind: how moving through space alters human thought, and how thought, in turn, rewrites that space across time. We explore this interplay along the historic "old road" documented by Mark Twain in his 1880 travelogue, ​A Tramp Abroad. Artwork carried through human walking this specific path, our practice collapses the fabric of time into a non-linear relation, intersecting historical literary memory with contemporary physical geography in the reality of 2026.

 

Here, the artwork is not a static object. It is an ongoing act of becoming that emerges from the dust of the road, the rhythm of walking, and the literary memory embedded in the landscape. Within this natural environment, the human body, the literature of the past, and non-human agencies co-create a new space of art—a space where temporal layers fold into one another, manifesting through the artifacts, digital routes, and sensory residues generated by this specific "Wander."
